
The city of Wichita approved an agreement to keep a bicycle share program running in 2022.

Tandem Mobility supplies 200 bikes to the city and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas sponsors the program with $360 thousand in funding. In addition, station sponsorships and user fees generate approximately $50,000 annually for the program.
Council member Becky Tuttle thanked the sponsors for their help with the program and to those who use it.
The city council also approved a $2.25 million contract renewal for 2022 with Visit Wichita, to promote tourism and convention activities in the city.
Finally, the council set the first public hearing for February 1, 2022 regarding the adoption of the phase 1 plan for the ict21 Redevelopment District at 21st Street North and I-135.
