At Tuesday's Wichita City Council workshop, the council continued their discussion on economic development policy and affordable housing.
Affordable housing levels are based on 80% of area median income, which is $73,200 for a family of four.
There are several federal and state resources the city can use to help residents get into housing and for developers to construct housing units.
Tuesday's discussion built on workshops the council held in January and April. The city says they'll continue working to remove barriers for people to find housing.
