At Tuesday's meeting, the Wichita City Council will look at proposed changes to the fireworks ordinance. Mayor Lily Wu tells KNSS News the council will look at changing the dates allowed for aerial fireworks, anything fired over six feet high, to July 3 and 4 only.
It's been three weeks since City of Wichita computers were hit by a ransomware cyber attack. Mayor Wu says some of the programs are coming back online. She says last week the City was able to pay at least some employees. She says the process will "take time."
Wu commented during Mondays with the Mayor on the Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
