Two people were injured, including a firefighter, in a house fire Saturday night in southwest Wichita.
It happened around 9 p.m. in the 3100 block of South Mt. Carmel. Smoke and flames were coming from the front of the home as fire crews arrived.
A man was found inside the home and rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The firefighter suffered serious injuries on the scene.
The blaze remains under investigation.
