One person was hospitalized following a house fire in north Wichita. It happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon in the 1500 block of north Burns.
Fire crews arrived and found smoke coming from the structure. Two people were trapped inside the home, but were rescued by firefighters.
There were no serious injuries, but one person was transported to the hospital to be treated for a medical condition.
