Wichita Fire units tackle three blazes

Wichita fire crews were busy late Saturday night and Sunday morning tackling three house fires.

The first was reported just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, in the 700 block of south Gordon. Heavy Fire was showing upon arrival but the fire was knocked down quickly, in less than 10 minutes, with no one hurt.


Just before 11 p.m., another house fire was reported in the 2300 block of east Random Road. Heavy fire was showing there as well.

A little after 10 a.m. Sunday, a home caught fire in the 100 block of south Greenwich. Fire units reported seeing smoke from 2 miles away.

The blazes are under investigation.
