A Wichita firefighter has been placed on administrative leave, pending an investigation into inappropriate text messages.
City officials confirmed that Fire Chief Tammy Snow was informed about the text messages on April 22nd. The firefighter was placed on administrative leave the same day.
The Wichita Police Department is working with outside agencies in the investigation.
