Wichita fire crews have responded to a two-alarm house fire in E. Wichita.
The fire was reported around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block on Tara Lane; that's along Central, east of Rock Road, and west of the Kapaun Mount Carmel high school parking lot.
The Wichita Fire Department said a second alarm was called out on the home, and additional units responded to the scene.
Firefighters have been forced the fight the flames defensively from the outside.
