A 51-year-old Wichita man is dead after being struck by a Wichita Police patrol vehicle Saturday night.
The incident happened just before 8 p.m., in the 1300 block of W. MacArthur. The officer was driving eastbound when the vehicle struck the pedestrian, who died on the scene.
The Kansas Highway Patrol will conduct the investigation.
