Included in the $2 trillion pandemic relief bill passed by Congress is more than 300 billion dollars in aid to city and state governments. Wichita Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News the City had to cut its budget by 5 million dollars last year, but will be "in the black" this year. But Whipple says "we're still not out of the woods".
Whipple believes the City could receive as much as $65 million in federal help for targeted pandemic relief spending.
Whipple commented during Mondays with the Mayor on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
