Each year, the Kansas World Languages Association recognizes a teacher of the year. At Monday night's School Board Meeting North High World Languages Department Chair, Jennifer Parga announced that this year's honoree is Alyssa Rumple of North High.
Rumple will go on to represent Kansas in the upcoming Central States Conference, competing for a regional award this coming March.
