The Wichita Police Department is investigating an incident where a girl, 14, reported being abducted and sexually assaulted. The incident occurred in the area of 19th and Grove around10:00 p.m. Monday night.
Detectives from the Exploited Missing Children’s Unit responded last night and immediately began investigating the case and continued investigating throughout the day.
The girl sustained minor injuries and was treated at an area hospital.
