An 18-year-old man suffered critical injuries in a drive-by shooting that closed down a part of Kellogg late Saturday afternoon.
Wichita Police responded around 5:25 p.m. to the westbound lanes of the 4300 block of E. Kellogg.
Police say that a disturbance occurred between the victim and the occupants of another vehicle while driving on Kellogg, which escalated into gunfire.
Officers say the victim suffered gunshot wounds to his wrist and hip. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives continue their investigation into the shooting and ask anyone with information to call them.
