An early Saturday morning shooting in northeast Wichita left one person with minor injuries.
It happened around 12:45 a.m. Officers patrolling in the area heard multiple gunshots. As officers searched for the source of the shots, a disturbance call came in from the 4000 block of East Vesta, east of 13th and Hillside.
Officers arrived to find a large gathering in the area, then heard additional gunshots.
The gunfire struck two homes and initially, no victims were reported at the scene. But around two hours later, an 18-year-old man arrived at a local hospital. He was struck by flying glass while reportedly inside a vehicle that had been fired upon.
No arrests have been made in the case.
