Wichita Police have spent the overnight hours investigating a pair of shootings, both fatal.
The first call came in just before 10 p.m. Saturday, from an apartment complex in south Wichita near Harry and Oliver. When Police arrived they found a man in his 30s who had been shot. He was transported to an area hospital but died there.
An hour later, a teenager was shot and killed at a graduation party in the north part of the city.
That shooting took place at a venue near 25th and Hillside. Police say a disturbance broke out and a 17-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
As people were running away from the scene, a 15-year-old girl was struck by a car at 25th and Estelle. She is currently in critical condition.
Police reported hearing more gunshots at the scene.
Investigators are trying to figure out what led up to the shootings, which are believed to be unrelated. No arrests have been made in either case. If you have any information that can help, you're asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers.
