
The Wichita City Council Tuesday approved agreements in coordination with next month's Wichita River Festival.

Wichita Festivals, Inc., will gate A. Price Woodard Park for Riverfest, which runs from June 3 -11. WFI plans to hold events at the park and will charge admission for them. Fence installation begins May 16 and will be removed by June 15.
The city approved the licensing report and permit request. They also agreed to close down Douglas from Water to Waco for the 9-day event.
