The Wichita school district has received a settlement offer for the class action lawsuit against JUUL and other vaping product and e-cigarette manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
At Monday's meeting the board voted to authorize the acceptance of the settlement of the case and the signing of necessary paperwork to affect the settlement.
The amount of the settlement and how the money will be spent will be determined at a later date.
