An 18-year-old Wichita man was hospitalized after he led Kansas Highway Patrol troopers on a 6-minute chase on I-135 Saturday afternoon.
The KHP said the teen attempted to pass several vehicles on the right shoulder of northbound I-135 when he lost control and struck a metal guardrail. The vehicle overturned at 125th Street N. and rolled into a creek.
The teen was ejected. He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. No one else was hurt during the pursuit.
