Jury selection began on Monday in the trial of a man accused in causing a crash that killed Wichita radio personality Don Hall.
Ray Watkins of Wichita is charged with involuntary manslaughter while under the influence in the 2019 crash.
Police said that Watkins ran a red light at Kellogg and Rock Rd, hitting Hall's car. Hall was pinned in his car and died at the scene. Court documents showed that Watkins had a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit at the time of the crash.
Opening statements are expected to be made on Tuesday.
