Two men were shot in Wichita on Tuesday, five hours apart.
The first shooting happened before 2:00 a.m. north of Harry & Main, in the 1400 block of S. Main Street. The male victim had gunshot wounds, and was hospitalized in critical condition.
Detectives believe this was a disturbance between people who know each other.
The second shooting came after 7:00 a.m. in the 2300 block of N. Jackson, to the northeast of 21st & Arkansas. A 51-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Early in the investigation, police believe this shooting took place inside a house, and was a targeted, isolated incident.
Both shooting victims are expected to survive.
