Some parts of Kansas could end up with several inches of snow. Early Wednesday evening snow was falling in Garden City, with heavier snow along the Colorado line from Oklahoma to Nebraska.
Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Advisories went into effect for areas to the north and east of Wichita.
The system is expected to push to the east overnight, before clearing on Thursday afternoon.
