A woman is charged with first-degree murder for the fatal shooting of a young boy in southeast Wichita.
The shooting happened early Sunday morning in the 37-hundred block of Ross Parkway. Davion Gunter, 7, received multiple injuries to his upper torso and died after being transported to a local hospital.
Tasha Dillard, 25, was also charged with seven counts of aggravated child endangerment, as seven additional children and multiple adults were also in the home at the time of the shooting.
Her bond was set at $500,000.
