Sedgwick County Sheriff's investigators are working to determine what led up to a fatal car crash. It happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon near 63rd street south and Broadway.
Deputies arrived and found a woman in her 20's pinned in a vehicle. A man in his 60's was in a second vehicle. He was transported to an area hospital, while the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the fatal crash may be related to a vehicle that sped away from an earlier nearby crash.
