A Woman died in a crash in south Wichita. It happened just after 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon at I-235 and south Meridian.
Police said that a white Impala was traveling southbound at high speed when it collided into a tan Buick attempting to make a left turn on I-235.
The man, 26 who was driving the white Impala was transported to hospital in critical condition. The driver of the tan Buick, a man in his seventies, was also transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The passenger in the Buick, a senior woman, died at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine if the driver of the Impala was involved in another case nearby were shots were fired.
