A woman was critically injured after she was struck by a vehicle in north Wichita. It happened just before 6:00 p.m. Monday evening at 13th and West streets.
Police say the woman was attempting to cross the street, when she was struck by the side-mirror of a vehicle.
Investigators say she was unresponsive at the scene, but became alert after arriving at the hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
