A woman was seriously injured in a house fire in south Wichita. The fire broke out shortly before 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of east Lincoln, just east of Broadway.
When crews arrived they found the woman, who had evacuated from the home, suffering from burns. She was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
A cause of the fire has not been released.
