At Tuesday's meeting, the Wichita City Council will hold a workshop. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News the council will look at a consultant's report on what to do with Jabara Airport in east Wichita. The idea is to find ways to utilize the aiport as "an economic growth opportunity". Whipple says the airport can be a center for servicing and repairing small aircraft, and that can help the local economy.
