CANTON TWP. (WWJ) -- There's good news in the case of a teenager who was reported missing in Wayne County.
According to an update shared by his family on social media, 15-year-old Shane Dulin made contact with this mother, late Thursday afternoon, and was headed home before 5 p.m.
Canton Township Police had asked for help to find the teen, after he left his house at around 4 p.m. Wednesday, and did not return.
Dulin's mother said that her son got in touch with her shortly after the missing post was shared. She asked for continued prayers for the teen, as Thursday marked the anniversary of the tragic death of his father in a car accident.
