Video shows 3 men carrying body out of Florida Airbnb
Video from a doorbell surveillance camera captured three suspects carrying a dead body out of an Airbnb in Florida, according to police.
The grainy, black-and-white footage was taken Wednesday, April 13 at a home in Davenport, about 35 miles southwest of Orlando.
The video shows three men struggling to remove the body from the home after what investigators believe was a drug deal-gone-wrong, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The victim has since been identified as 29-year-old St. Petersburg resident Xavier Antonio Johnson. He was shot to death.
"Johnson and his associates had been selling marijuana from the house since April 8, 2022, when they took occupancy. Around 8:30 p.m. on April 13th, unknown suspects went inside the house, and shot the victim," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
After releasing the video to the public, police received several tips which led to the positive identification of all three men, according to the sheriff's office.
One of the suspects, 29-year-old Justin Jenkins, was arrested over Easter weekend on a charge of first degree murder and booked into the Volusia County Jail. Police said his criminal history includes 35 previous felonies and 20 previous misdemeanors.
The other two suspects have not been arrested. It's not clear if they are facing charges.
Police also released a second video which shows a fourth person who was at the home with Jenkins. Investigators are still trying to identify that man, described only as white or Hispanic.
A $5,000 cash reward is being offered for information.
