Bonnie and Clyde have got nothing on kitty and the pig.
An African cat from a North Carolina petting zoo has gone viral after escaping from its enclosure with the help from a potbelly pig.
The video of the exotic serval roaming widely in a nearby stretch of highway in Edgecombe County has made its way across the internet, Newsweek reports.

Candid Cobb captured the mid-sized serval walking calmly and gracefully along the wooded highway area. Luckily, no cars appear to be driving by at the time.
Cobb told a local outlet that she initially mistook the large spotted wild cat for a leopard while driving her daughter home from softball practice.
The animal, which is native to sub-Saharan Africa, does bear a heavy resemblance to a leopard, sporting the same print fur markings and stealthy demeanor.

“We saw that it was like a leopard or whatever it is that was on the side of the road,” Cobb told the outlet. “At the moment, it was very weird. Like, why’s this animal here.”
Bobbie Joe Abrams, owner of the It’s a Zoo Life petting zoo, got wind of the escaped animal and knew the cat had to be hers. She grabbed some raw meat and raced to grab the cat, named King Sparta.

“He comes right out, he smells the meat. I put it in the kennel and he walked right in and we brought him home,” she told KVOA.
Abrams confirmed that the animal escaped with the help from a potbelly pig named Oliver in the pen next door.
“And so he routed and rooted,” she explained. “That rooter is a solid muscle. He kept on and he pushed the door open. And so the pig was inside and the cat was gone.”
Abrams noted to the outlet that King Sparta has been domesticated and posed little to no danger during his trip in the great outdoors.
