Travis Kelce is officially coming back for another season, signing a new contract with the Kansas City Chiefs after months of retirement speculation.

The deal is structured as a three-year contract worth up to about $57 million, though it primarily guarantees him around $12 million for the 2026 season. Additional incentives could increase that total, while the later years are largely designed to give the team salary cap flexibility rather than lock in long-term commitment.

Kelce, 36, had been weighing whether to step away from football following the 2025 season but ultimately chose to return for what will be his 14th year in Kansas City. His decision provides a major boost to the Chiefs offense as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Despite the multi-year structure, reports indicate the contract doesn’t necessarily guarantee Kelce will play beyond 2026, leaving the door open for retirement or future renegotiation depending on how things unfold.
