Bill Self is leaving his future open after the Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team suffered a heartbreaking NCAA Tournament loss to the St. John's Red Storm.

Following the defeat, Self admitted he is undecided about continuing to coach, saying he has no firm plans for what comes next. The longtime coach acknowledged the emotional toll of the loss, especially given how the game ended.

Kansas was eliminated on a last-second play, adding to the sting of the early tournament exit and prompting questions about Self’s future on the sideline.

Self, who has led Kansas to multiple deep tournament runs and a national championship, did not indicate any immediate retirement decision but made it clear he plans to take time to evaluate his next move.
