3. Street Food Cinema: The Swan Princess

For dinner and a movie, all in one, just follow the food trucks. During the summer and fall, Street Food Cinema throws together a series of mostly outdoor parties that include screenings of some of our favorite movies, paired with an assortment of gourmet food trucks and even a live music performance from a cool local band. The screenings are held in venues across L.A., and alternate from week to week, so make sure to check the schedule. Some of the outdoor venues are dog-friendly, allowing you to bring your four-legged cinema lover along.

11. A Faery Hunt Magnificent Adventure

Nickelodeon named A Faery Hunt "Best Children's Theater in Los Angeles" - join us on this magical, musical adventure. A Faery Hunt shows are interactive performances designed for young audiences.

The event takes place on the first Sunday of every month. There's a $2 cover; free if you eat at Prufrock. The event features vintage clothing, antiques, jewelry, used instruments and music memorabilia, along with some killer food trucks.

The festival runs for nine weeks and features chicken dancing, oom-pah-pa music, dachshund races, carnival games, brats, and lederhosen.
