The Costa Mesa Fire Department reports that evacuations are underway at the Blue Sol Apartments at 421 Bernard St. due to a gas leak. Residents are being told to leave immediately and avoid the area.
A Southern California Gas Co. team is "on scene making entry into (a) trench to cease the gas flow," according to the CMFD.
