The Hollywood Bowl has canceled its entire summer season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The story about the cancelation was first reported in the LA Times Wednesday and then other media.
The LA Times said "The Los Angeles Philharmonic Assn., which manages the venue, announced on Wednesday the impossibility of attempting a summer season with the coronavirus crisis not yet resolved."
The venue, which has hosted Bob Dylan, Taylor Swift, musicals like "Into the Woods," Andrea Bocelli, numerous movies in concert and other bands, is also the summer home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Not to mention there will be no more July 4th fireworks this summer.
The Hollywood Bowl, which first opened in 1922, has hosted everyone - and we mean everyone - from Billie Holiday to The Beatles to Yo-Yo Ma under its iconic concentric-arched band shell.
