Ten California cities made the list of the nation's 50 most miserable cities in a list compiled by the Business Insider.
The Business Insider used census data to come up with the rankings. The data looked at population, population change, median household income, persons without health insurance and more.
The most miserable city in the country is Gary, Indiana. Meanwhile, Northern California had a city at No. 211 with Antioch.
What came in at No. 10? It's Huntington Park.
No. 12 was Bell Gardens
No. 21 was Lynwood and at the next spot was El Monte.
No. 34 was Palmdale
No. 40 and 41 were Montebello and Compton, respectively
No. 42 was San Bernardino
No. 44 was Hemet in Riverside County
No. 50 was Lancaster
