A Florida man was arrested Sunday after allegedly cutting off the penis of the man he suspected was sleeping with his wife.
Alex Bonilla, 49, is accused of breaking into the victim's home, holding him at gunpoint, tying him up, and then using a pair of scissors to cut off the man's penis and running away with it.
The penis has not been recovered, according to the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office.
According to a press release, Bonilla told police he caught the victim sleeping with his wife in May.
Two children were in the house at the time of the crime.
Bonilla is charged with aggravated assault, armed battery, and burglary. A judge set his bond at $1.25 million.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
