As President Trump introduced his new secretary of defense Thursday, Mark Esper, he appeared to have invented a new word: "Infantroopen."

He mentioned the word while describing the career of Esper, who was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge for his service in the 101st Airborne Division during the first Iraq War.

The president, however, called it the “Combat Infantroopen Badge,” according to Vox.com reporter Aaron Rupar.

It was a tough day for the president, as he also said Esper had worked in both houses advising "lawmarkers."

It was May 2017 when the president infamously tweeted the word "covfefe."
