SeaWorld in San Diego has rescued an orphaned 5-week-old sea otter pup from Homer, Alaska, and she's the cutest little thing ever.
The pup was initially taken in for care at the Homer Vet Clinic, but "Cinder," needed more care and was sent to SeaWord to be overseen by the park's sea otter nursery staff.
“The pup is doing well so far,” Bill Hoffman, SeaWorld’s curator of mammals
told KUSI News. “We’ve seen a lot of positives. We’ve seen some growth, we’ve seen an increase in weight and appetite and she seems to be getting used to her new surroundings very well.”

September 12, 2019 Cinder's appetite is slowly increasing, and she's put on weight, according to animal care staff. She will eventually be placed with the park's four other female otters, all of whom were rescued.
According to SeaWorld's website, the rescue team has helped over 35,000 sick, injured and orphaned animals in need in the last 50 years doing business.
