(KNX 1070) -- Malcolm Abbott has come out strong in defense of his parents Gregory and Marcia after they allegedly bought his sister's way into a university.

The New York Post spoke with "rapper" Malcolm Abbott outside of his family's Fifth Avenue building, overlooking the Metropolitan Museum of Art, while he grabbed a quick toke on an oversized blunt.

Abbott told the NY Post he thought the whole college bribery scandal was totally blown "out of proportion... I believe everyone has a right to go to college, man," Abbott, who admitted he didn't go to college, said.
