A tourist was attacked in the Melrose Avenue Shopping District this week on Waring Avenue.
Los Angeles police are looking for several suspects who attacked a tourist near the busy Melrose Avenue shopping district -- one suspect is in custody.
In a video posted by the Melrose Action Neighborhood Watch, a tourist is seen walking down the sidewalk and is unaware he is being followed.
Melrose Action Neighborhood Watch's security cameras showed a victim walking north of Melrose Avenue.
The video shows he is being followed by two suspects on the other side of the street and then two more behind him on the same street he is walking on.
A second camera captured the actual ambush.
The attackers all converge on him, hit and tackle him onto the sidewalk.
Then, the video shows a good Samaritan who stops his truck, and the person gets out to help the victim.
