Margaret Carrero

Born in Staten Island, New York, Margaret Carrero has lived in California since she was 10 years old. Her career in radio began 30 years ago in Sacramento at KRAK AM/FM, a country music station. She went on to spend many years as a traffic reporter/producer before moving to the news side of radio at KMJ AM in Fresno in 2007. She landed at KNX in 2012 where she won a Gracie Award (as part of a group series on the LA Riots - 20 years later). In her spare time, Margaret enjoys spending time in nature, walking on the beach, hiking trails, meditating, reading, writing, cooking, and watching movies.
