I started in TV, but very quickly realized radio was a much better fit. It's like sitting down with friends each morning and having a conversation about what impacts our lives. I hope that I'm able to make complicated stories easier to understand, bring heart to tragedies and share in laughs when we can enjoy lighter moments.
Over the years I've worked as an editor, street reporter and news anchor. I've won a bunch of awards, from local to national. I'm a serious news person who doesn't take herself too seriously. Connections with people are most important.
I'm a foodie who's always ready to try something new and then try to cook it myself at home. Happy hours make me happy. I have two sons who call me "Bruh." At work, breakfast usually consists of coffee and candy. Don't judge.
