Jennifer Lawrence was injured while filming her new movie “Don’t Look Up” in Boston.

According to TMZ, the actress was filming a scene inside a restaurant in which a window was expected to explode. Apparently something went wrong and shards of glass cut the Oscar winner’s face, the outlet noted.

A TMZ source added that piece of glass cut Lawrence’s eyelid and “would not stop bleeding.”

The specifics of her injuries are not known, but a source told TMZ "it wasn't that bad."  The New York Post also reports that Lawrence “will be OK.”

The incident occurred during a “controlled glass explosion” early on Friday morning and production was halted for the day.

The actress was filming alongside co-star Timothee Chalamet, but there are no reports of him being physically injured.

“Don’t Look Up” is being directed by Adam McKay (‘Vice,” “The Big Short”) and also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep.

In the film, Lawrence and DiCaprio play astronomers attempting to warn mankind about an asteroid that will destroy Earth by going on a worldwide media tour.

Described as political satire/disaster comedy, "Don't Look Up" is expected to premiere on Netflix later this year.
