Jennifer Aniston didn’t leave this interview with any new “friends.”
The 52-year-old had a cringe-worthy moment with a host during an appearance on a British talk show titled “The One Show.”

The “Friends” star and her “Morning Show” co-star, Reese Witherspoon, appeared remotely to promote the second season of the Apple TV drama.
During the interview, they talked about filming scenes in the wee hours of the morning.
“I learned the slow burn that it is. It’s a very vampire state of life and mind that you guys live in. Everybody comes alive in the middle of the night, and it’s a slow-moving train,” Aniston explained.
She continued: “I got there at 5 in the morning and the hallways were quiet and people are just slowly waking up, and then all of a sudden, the train starts moving and it gets crazier and crazier. It’s utter chaos.”
Midway through the segment, presenter Jermaine Jenas cut Aniston off and accused her of not being a morning person.
“Reese, I’ve got to be honest with you, Jennifer’s pretty much sold it to me that she’s not a morning person,” he said.
Aniston seemed taken aback by the comment, asking: “Did I sell that to you?'”
“A little bit, a little bit,” Jenas responded uneasily, to which Aniston quipped: “Did I get a good deal?”
Witherspoon looked uncomfortable and confused throughout the exchange, but laughed it off and agreed with the former soccer player that she was more of a “morning person,” while Aniston is a “night person.”
“So, it actually works out because I do kind of the early morning scenes, and then by 4 o’clock I’m toast, and then Jen starts around 11 and 12, and then she can do the night scenes because I can’t even think straight past 4 p.m.,” she explained.
The exchange left social media divided as fans debated who was in the wrong, if anyone.
Some thought Aniston approached the situation negatively.
“Did anyone else catch Jennifer Anniston’s [sic] negative reaction to the male presenter regarding the morning person bit? Awkward,” one person tweeted.
Another added: “Jennifer Anniston’s ‘tude in this interview is cringe. She keeps on looking to the side awkward #theoneshow.”
Others disagreed, noting that Jenas acted unprofessionally.
“#TheOneShow sorry but I don’t think #JenniferAniston was rude at all and it’s rude to cut someone off when they’re talking, people need to chill,” a user noted.
Another mentioned that “Jermaine dying on his arse trying to interview Jennifer Aniston.”
“Jen was a class act as always. She gave answers as requested and the interviewer was the one who gave it an awkward overtone with his dig about Jen not being a morning person,” a third exclaimed.
However, many viewers deemed it a non-issue and insisted the moment was clearly exaggerated.
“Not awkward at all. Nothing wrong with Jennifer,” one user chimed in.
Yet another said that it was “pretty apparent Aniston had just woken up and sounded a little blurry while Witherspoon was bright and cheerful. They both agreed that Aniston was a night person while Witherspoon was a morning person.”
