Brood X had a run-in with the president outside Air Force One.
Joe Biden had his first public encounter with a cicada on Wednesday morning as he prepared for a trip to Europe to meet with various leaders overseas.

In a clip from CNN shared by TMZ, Biden can be seen having a conversation at Joint Base Andrews when he pauses, turns his head down and swats the buzzing insect off his neck.
“Was that—?” asks one anchor as the footage airs.
“A cicada,” affirms the other.
Moments afterwards, Biden approached reporters and media reps.
“Watch out for the cicadas,” he warned. “I just got one. It got me.”
The president isn’t the only one in Washington who’s reckoning with the cicadas.
CNN anchor Manu Raju had a freak-out moment on camera when a cicada crawled onto his neck — just like the president.
