NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — It’s "Saturday Night Live" -- albeit a few days early.
Kim Kardashian was first spotted in New York City Tuesday as she prepares to host "SNL" this weekend — and dined with the show's cast in Midtown Manhattan in a shimmering tinsel coat.

The '”Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star seen leaving The Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South Tuesday for a rehearsal ahead of the show in an all-black ensemble while carrying a large leather duffle.

She then dined out with the cast at Lattanzia Cucina Italiana in Hell's Kitchen donning an over-the-top, $23,000 full-length tinsel coat from Balenciaga.
Kardashian was also spotted leaving her hotel on Wednesday, wearing all-black again. This time, she wore leather pants and boots, paired with a bulky puffy jacket.

Kim is set to host the show for the first time Oct. 9 with musical guest Halsey. The 40-year-old admitted last week that she was feeling the “pressure” ahead of the show as she posted flowers from her designer friend Jeff Leatham.
“Thanks so much for sending me these flowers. That is so amazing and I absolutely love them,” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram story, adding “The pressure!”
Some have been openly questioning why "SNL" would pick Kardashian to host, including actress Debra Messing.
"Why Kim Kardashian?" the “Will & Grace” actress tweeted when hosts were announced. "I mean, I know she is a cultural icon, but SNL has hosts, generally, who are performers who are there to promote a film, TV show, or album launch. Am I missing something?"
"SNL" saw a large rating dip when it returned last week with a few new cast members and host Owen Wilson.
