One man was injured in a fire at a garage Friday at an apartment complex in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Fire crews were called at 1:25 a.m. Friday to the two-story complex where they found heavy smoke coming from a garage, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

Due to a rapid and coordinated attack, firefighters were able to knock down the fire in 30 minutes and preventing it from extending to the second floor and adjacent units, the fire authority said.
The man who was injured suffered burns in the fire and was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition. The cause is under investigation.
