“Visibility can quickly drop below one mile creating dangerous driving conditions. Slow down and use headlights,” the L.A. field office of the National Weather Service has advised.

Expect gusty conditions to last through at least Monday night for the Antelope Valley area. Forecasters predict wind speeds up to 70 miles per hour. Additionally, a dip in humidity, combined with high winds, may trigger wildfire conditions, the NWS has reported.

Smaller dust storms have also been reported to the east of L.A. County, in the Victorville area. Large portions of Central California also remain under high winds advisories.
