A fire damaged a house in Santa Ana early Tuesday, injuring two people.
Firefighters were sent to the 300 block of East Walnut Street at 3 a.m. and extinguished the flames, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
Nine people, including two children, were displaced by the fire, which engulfed the structure, the OCFA reported.
"Fortunately, all residents made it out of the home," an OCFA statement said. "However, there were two burn patients who declined to be transported to the hospital by our firefighter/paramedics."
The cause of the fire, which originated in the basement, was under investigation.
